Dermilon Plus Sterile is a sterile moistened wipe intended for cleaning and preparing the skin, assisting in the removal of bodily fluids and exudate around the wound (peri-lesional area), as well as in the removal of dressing/medical device residue and glues/adhesives. The product contributes to greater patient comfort and helps reduce mechanical trauma associated with frequent dressing and adhesive device changes.
PURPOSE/INTENDED USE
• Preparation and cleaning of injury-prone or sensitized skin in routine care settings.
• Removal of body debris and exudate around the wound.
• Assists in the removal of dressings and adhesive medical devices (e.g., microporous tape, transparent films, bandages).
• Assists in the removal of glue/adhesive residue after the removal of dressings and medical devices.
• Cleaning and preparation of the peristomal skin (around stomas) before the application of plates/bags.
